Mediation and Conflict Resolution Trainings

Artz, Dewhirst & Wheeler, LLP administers the training programs for the Center for Dispute Resolution at Capital University Law School. Trainings are open to the public and include:

Intensive Mediation Theory & Skills* (five-day course in basic and advanced skills) 34.50 CLEs

Negotiation Skills 7.00 CLEs
Basic Mediation (two-day basic skills course) 13.50 CLEs
Becoming a More Effective Mediator 7.00 CLEs
Mediation Ethics, Professionalism and Substance Abuse Education* 3.75 CLEs
Succeeding in the Business of Mediation 3.25 CLEs
Divorce and Family Mediation** 40.00 CLEs (This course satisfies 40 hour requirement of the Supreme Court of Ohio. Prerequisite: basic 12 hour mediation course or equivalent mediation experience.)

Trainings can be tailored to the specifics needs of a group or an organization. Tailored trainings can focus on representing clients in mediation, using conflict resolution skills in the workplace, enhancing negotiation skills and more. Trainings have been provided for attorneys, judges, health care professionals, university faculty, social workers, business leaders, government and private employees, clergy, school teachers, and many others.
